Advice: Avoid Distractions

Wouldn’t it be great if life had a reset button? I wonder how many times the average person would press it if there was one. What if you could ask for an Angel? Listen, I have stuff happening all around me (all the time) that I wish I could do more about but I cant. I will spare you the trouble of getting specific but I have a solution. A really good solution.

It’s easy to get distracted by other people and their problems, but my advice is just to stay focused on your own. Being a superhero is great and all, but it’s not healthy to try to help everyone around you solve every little problem they have. Eventually, This will leave you unable to solve your own problems. Chances are that your life will come crashing down just like theirs. The ones you spent all your time rescuing, won’t be there to rescue you when shit happens. So stay true to yourself, don't try to be a superhero.

When you focus on you, you will be surprised what kind of circumstances you can actually handle. You won’t allow others to disappoint you. We all have this desire for a “security blanket” in our lives. Whether it’s a friend, a possession, money. Our security blanket is our “go to” when we need it right? People can be bad investments and won’t always return the favor. I learned this the hard way, and I have to learn from my own lesson on this one.

I don’t have enough limbs to count how many times I have let people drag me down. It’s not always easy being a good person. People WILL take advantage of you from all angles. Be a fighter, don’t allow it anymore. Fight for you. Nobody will fight that fight for you. In a perfect world, everyone would look out for each other. However, rarely is this the case. Remember that. Learn from my mistakes, and learn from me. For I will always be someones security blanket.

Scam Sharks

Have you ever called a company, or had one call you that looked professional on paper, but sounded like they answered the phone in the middle of their favorite TV show just to serve the “customer?” Perhaps you paid something off, but they keep charging your account, or acting like they never got it? Simply because you weren’t removed from their phone list?

Welcome to America.

The question is.. Why do companies use these people to represent them? (if that’s even the case) I just don’t see how paying people to make your company look horrible would achieve good results. Chances are you just got bit by a scam shark.

We are all familiar with those service reps from other countries like India, phillipines, or who knows where. I just don’t think we give enough credit to the ones right here at home. Well, I am here to start. After all, we are bringing jobs back to America. Right?

Anyways.. I call (or they call) these companies “scam” companies. Perhaps it’s because I have been taken for many times, by just about every scam in the book. I definitely take my privacy, and security a lot more seriously now days. I have some phone logs from calls I have made, or received that are filled with hours of entertainment. I also have a lot of voicemails that I think people would really get a kick out of.

My attorneys and lawyers love me. I am always throwing them curveballs. They love the questions I ask. I probably shouldn’t repeat them or they may break my Attourney-Client privilege agreements. Let’s just say I get a lot of scam emails, and calls. I used to hate them, but nowadays I could make them into a podcast and probably make some big bucks. © Don’t steal that idea. I am just trying to figure out why these people never get caught?

Time after time, people often tell me that I should be a comedian. One that focuses on life experiences. When you spend enough time with me, you will surely get a chance to re-live one of my experiences. I guess it amazes me how many scammers are truly out there, what they’re willing to say, how hard they really try. Let’s face it. The online world is full of sharks. Do you have what it takes to swim? I know I do. However, it took a lot of google searching, and common sense.

Maybe it’s me. I find it really hard to take people seriously when they sound like they are scamming the shit out of people to begin with. What’s the point of this article? Oh with all due respect, please don’t call me. I am recording you, and you sound really stupid.

Here’s my advice. Google every single number that calls you before you answer it. This will save you a lot of trouble in the future. It will prevent you from handing out sensitive information to the wrong people. This will inform you on the legitimacy of the call. Always review companies before you do business with them. This will help you understand what to expect, and how they treat their customers. A few tips like this will really pay off in the long run. Enjoy.
